On 28 September 2009, the government announced plans for a further £100 million funding for the scrappage scheme. This means that the scheme will now cover up to 400,000 vehicles.
The scheme rules will be unchanged except for the date of the first registration in this country, applying only to the purchasing of a new vehicle, whilst not extending to van contract hire. (more…)
