So you may well be thinking that there is a need for new delivery vans to keep the business going, but I can’t afford to buy one that will be suitable for the job. (more…)

How to get the best deal in Van Leasing

December 15, 2009 By: articleranks Category: Shopping No Comments →

Back in 2001 just 27% of buyers leased their new vehicle and roughly 59% financed the purchase of their new vehicle with a bank loan. Ever since these statistics were released the amount of people investing in van leasing has rapidly increased and we are now in the realm of an all time high in commerical van leasing. Several market researchers have said that leasing a vehicle is simply so much cheaper than it would be to get a bank loan or even get vehicle finance out from the dealer himself. (more…)

The old days with the band and the van

December 15, 2009 By: articleranks Category: Shopping No Comments →

I once was a band roadie working for a number of bands, and for those who don’t know what this is – I will explain further. The roadie does all the hard grafting, from heavy lifting to assembly of the equipment for the whole show. As a fan, you turn up at the ‘gig’ and have a great time, not only marvelling at the performers but also the lighting or stage design. (more…)

How do you identify the main criteria to obtaining recognition as a ‘white van man’? The obvious one is to own a white van but even this could still preclude you from this exclusive club. A few weeks ago, I was talking to a friend of mine who runs her own Newsagents business. She purchased the business a few years ago and she works some very unsociable hours.

She was telling me that she adores working in the shop, but when she closes, her working day still is not over. (more…)
