This is something that many artists get angry over and many even promote it, but is downloading illegal music a bad idea or does it have benefits?

The Good

The great thing about it is that you can listen to the album before you go to the shops and buy it, only liking a few songs means that you only have to buy the songs that you like. Disc Jockeying is by no means a simple and easy way to make money, it is a skill that takes years to learn and even longer to perfect. As for famous DJs that have made huge successes of themselves never having to work again, lets face it, there are not many but what is the real reason behind this, lack of skill, lack of decent DJ equipment or are they just not good enough role models to sell?
This is how musicians will go out and make their main stream of income to start with and it is no different for a DJ. (more…)
