The imbalance of the hormone Androgen caused by overactive thyroid glands can result in hair loss for men. Thinning hair can also be blamed on certain medicines. Blood thinning anticoagulants, gout alleviation medicine, chemotherapy or vitamin A used unwisely, can all result in thinning of the hair. At first it was a little amusing, then it became and irritation and finally the beard had to come off. Many suffering like in the example usually suffer temporarily as a full recovery of the damaged area is normal. But if it doesn’t recover within a few months, it could mean permanent damage has occurred.
