Without warning, these attacks may leave one overcome by the suddenness of the event. Without obvious reason, the first symptoms of the attack are elevated heartbeat or palpitations and upset stomach: Similar to the feeling of anxiety and worry, the panic away starts off with a knot in your stomach, elevated heartbeat and the constant worry over something unidentified at that particular moment. The racing heartbeat may be experienced for minutes before sweating, nausea, and difficulty in breathing begins.

More often than not, we can recognize a panic away attack as these usual symptoms are also accompanied by a numbing sensation of the fingers and toes, chest pain and weakness that these attacks may be misinterpreted as cardiac attacks.

The only difference from a panic away attack and a cardiac attack is that in anxiety attacks, the physical symptoms become more apparent as the person correlates it more to a cardiac attack. By thinking that it may be heartburn or an elevated blood pressure, panic away overcomes the person and leads to an anxiety attack. The muscle tensions are coupled with some signs of tiredness and lightheadedness. These panic away attacks may be in varying degrees and may last at varying time frames.

Recognizing these symptoms may not be easy, but remembering that these physical symptoms are only among the signs of a panic away or anxiety attack may help. Another important symptom of a panic away attack is the presence of thoughts about losing control, helplessness and disorientation. When one finds a friend having out of proportion fears, and losing control of emotions, situation and thoughts, an panic away or anxiety attack may ensue.

During this “fight or flight” response of our bodies, a choking sensation and grasping for air may occur. And this will send signals to our brains that our lives are threatened and that we are in immediate danger, the ability to react as fast as possible and the want to react and seek medical help instantly are among the leading triggering factors of an attack.

When these fears become constant, and worry becomes a normal and ongoing thing, the first panic away attack may be the first sign of a panic away disorder. When one has experienced these attacks, one is preoccupied with the worry of experiencing a similar attack in places and crowds where ready help is unavailable. And as soon as these thoughts impede the usual lifestyle and normal work, a panic away disorder may be at hand.

The signs of a panic away disorder may be recognized if one is starting to feel constantly tired, stressed out, and sad. To recognize panic away disorder from these panic away attacks may also include insomnia, restless sleep, waking in the middle of the night with excessive sweating and accelerated heartbeat, an unrealistic view of problems and a feeling of being edgy.

We should remember that though the fear of losing control of the situation and over other mundane things is very real to the patient this fear is often out of proportion. Learn to master the art of staying calm over adversity, and taking control of the situation by practicing correct breathing techniques and meditation to clear minds. Understanding what panic away attacks are and spotting a panic away attack are first steps in recognizing and overcoming panic away disorder.

Try incorporating a bit of change in your lifestyle, smile more often, laugh, love more often and maintain a healthier diet. panic away attacks breed on routine and are triggered by similar situations and events in our daily lives. Integrating a few changes and things will most likely help you cope with panic away attacks.

Do not hesitate to seek medical help when these attacks persist. A good advice from your physician may go a long way in alleviating anxiety and preventing future attacks.
