I love roulette but truly hate some of the online casinos. They are little more than arcade games and hold none of the depth and intrigue of the real game of roulette. There is only one type I’ll play online – live online roulette.

Now there are many people who will try and pretend that playing roulette online is better than visiting a casino. Usually the problem with online roulette is not graphics, or sounds or video. It’s not that I’m playing in my pajamas or on a laptop in front of the television, no it’s the absence of ‘lady luck’.

There are better odds games to play, better ways of making money for sure but you can win a huge amount of money if you have ‘lady luck’ on your side. A complex algorithm or pseudo-random number generator cannot replace this wonderful lady. That is the problem I’m sure the online casino games are safe and well run but you’ll always feel cheated when a large bet falls against you, the subject of the whim of a section of computer code.
