Do Not Buy Band Hero DS
With Band Hero on its way and released already in America it is also going to be released for the DS, but is the demand really here at all?
When the time came when the first Guitar Hero game was announced for the DS there was actually quite a bit of excitement surronding it because of the fact it had not been done before. This game with its problems and it is these problems that still need fixing.
The main problem was the strangeness of the controller itself as you were literally damaging your hands when you were playing it as in reality the DS is way too small to contain extra peripherals. Although no one has gone out and proved for a fact that this game will actually damage the hands when you are playing it, if you were to actually play this game for a long period of time the hands really do start to get in a lot of pain. Another problem was the fact that you couldn’t pick a favourite guitar to use like the Gibson les Paul Custom
When the drums came into the equation then it started to get a bit better as you were not damaging yourself during play however it did seem a bit pointless because you didn’t need the add on you could have just used the screen.
With the new update of Band Hero there is still no way at all that you can play it on the DSi, sure you can play the drums but it is the guitar that people are interested in? Well it’s the same old same old really with the ability to sing too which is going to please everyone on the bus I’m sure.
How long is it before they start to introduce silly things like DJ equipment and a bass guitar amp.
