What is this Summers Glasses of Choice
Summer has arrived along with the question what sunglasses is everyone going to be wearing? Every year the sunglasses market adopts a new look. Remember last summers sunglasses of choice the Ray-Ban Wayfarer? So I wonder what is flying off the shelves this summer.
Celebrities influence on consumer trends is huge in particular a market such as sunglasses which is based on image. Has anyone else noticed a lot of people this summer seem to be wearing round glasses? I certainly have! This year we have seen many celebrities wearing round glasses, we have seen this on the catwalk to many top celebrities wearing their favourite round glasses designer around town. So of course everyone else has jumped on the bandwagon. Round glasses have been around for years and were made famous by legends such as John Lennon and Elton John so you can understand why they have come back
We are seeing designers follow these trends. Police sunglasses for example provide a wide variety of different sunglasses styles including designs that were all the rage last year to this years round glasses fad. A big difference in todays market is the ability to get prescription glasses with designer looks! Police glasses offer many of their designer glasses with prescription use which is allowing even more people to wear the style they want. The high street plays the biggest part by allowing people to get designer look sunglasses for half the price. And round glasses have definitely been flying off the high street shelves.
Personally dont quite see the fascination but not to worry Im sure there will something even cooler just around the corner for all the hype to start again.
