If you love reading then the Kindle eBook gadget may be the most perfect gift you can give to yourself. Those are the main differences from the “regular” version, otherwise it has basically the same features. It’s targeted mostly at customers who want to read on a bigger display. It only works in the US.

Kindle With Global Wireless – Worldwide G3 wireless service is the great additional feature included with the Global Kindle which allows the Kindle to function outside of the US for the first time. This worldwide G3 wireless service works in over 100 countries around the world.
