The Kindle Lets You Carry All Of Your Books With You
If you love reading then the Kindle eBook gadget may be the most perfect gift you can give to yourself. The Kindle allows you to carry every book you own with you everywhere you go and if you want to read a new a book that you don’t yet own, you can easily download it within 60 seconds no matter where you are.
While the device may seem expensive at first when you consider that the eBooks you can read on this gadget are actually much less costly than “normal” books you can tell how you can save cash in the long term with the Kindle reader.
I can understand feeling unsure if you really want to read books on a screen. It’s like that you think that the Kindle’s display is a lot like a computer’s display. But really it’s display is nothing like a computer’s. It’s “glare free” and “reads like a real book.”
Three versions of the Kindle reading device are now available to buy. You will find short discriptions of each below that should help you to select the one that’s right for you.
Kindle – The “regular” Kindle has a six inch display and can hold up to 1500 books. It uses G3 wireless technology which lets you download a new book in just one minute anywhere within the US. It features “read to me” technology which will read your books to you.
Kindle DX – This version has a 9.7 inch display and can hold up to 3500 books. Unlike the “normal Kindle” it has a PDF reader built into the system. Those are the main differences from the “regular” version, otherwise it has basically the same features. It’s targeted mostly at customers who want to read on a bigger display. It only works in the US.
Kindle With Global Wireless – Worldwide G3 wireless service is the great additional feature included with the Global Kindle which allows the Kindle to function outside of the US for the first time. This worldwide G3 wireless service works in over 100 countries around the world.
