The Car Oil Industry
The world is currently in turmoil with a huge amount of companies folding because of the credit crunch that has hit globally. One of the worst suffering industries at the moment has to be oil suppliers, the price of crude oil rises and rises every year, this puts the costs through the roof.
But as technology progresses we begin to see the use of oil degrade more and more, but should oil suppliers really be worried? I personally feel that for most parts no they should not but the vehicle oil suppliers may be getting into a bit of a panic.
The reason for this is because as we can all see the government is very much campaigning for people to start using more eco friendly vehicles, they have even started a vehicle scrappage scheme. I feel that the roads will change a lot within the next few years as more and more electric cars become mainstream.
This will not only be eco friendly but it will allow people that own cars so save much more money. I mean the price of fuel for a car is endlessly rising every single day. With the new electric vehicles none of this will actually be useful, all you would need is a mobile charge point that you could plug in to your car then you could be on your way.
So one of the industries that could very much notice a hit in the future definitely has to be the oil distributors that cater for commercial and non commercial vehicles. And what is there to say that it will stop there if we are going to clean up the roads why not clean up the skies and have electric running planes, with the current rate of progression in technology we may see it soon.
